Feature:
Awesome features for what I paid, a bargain. You can do almost anything with it. Play in church, a Jazz band on stage or just practice Classical Music. The keys are very close to the real Grand Piano. The Auto Comp. Styles are awesome. You can also use Mixer to get many different combinations, endless possibilities! Korg is the best for style, and they all sound like a real band playing with you.
Quality:
Top built and finish quality, the silver top goes well with the wood frame. Very solid and heavy too, must the weighted keys!
Value:
I get much more than what I paid,
Desirability:
can't find a better looking keyboard/digital piano on the market, very cool and sexy.
Sound:
The Piano sound can be very good, but you have to configure it. The factory setting is very basic, and piano sound is quite muddy (for me). To get a nicer piano sound (to my preference), the easiest way is to turn on the Demo mode and play it like normal. Otherwise, this is what I normall do:
1) Put the touch value to 'Light 1' or 'Light 2'
2) Change the instrument frequency, default is 440 Hz, but something higher between 442-444Hz makes it sound more natural like a piano. Do this by going into functions/page1
3)If you're happy with it, go to functions/page7 and save it so next time you turn on, the values of Touch and Frequency is saved.
4) Play around with the Effects, choose a combination of Chorus and Reverb that's best for your music style and playing environment. For mysefl, I like a natural piano sound so I prefer Reverb/Hall set @ 65
and Chorus/Flanger1 set @ 20.
Support:
Don't think I ever need it.
Overall:
I'm very happy with this one and will probably have it for years. Before buying this, I was considering buying a digital piano so I could practice classical and a keyboard with style so I can play in a band. But this one is all I need now! Whenever people see it, they always say 'WOW'. It's indeed very sleek and sexy!

Nice keyboard. Keys are very much like a real piano and it sounds just like the best of them. On top of that you get a good selection of other sampled sounds that really are crisp. The accompaniments are very relistic. My other board was 4 years old and the main instruments and accompaniment styles on the SP-500 are far superior to my old Yamaha. The only complaint is that the chorus and reverb settings do not give quite enough adjustment range. It would have been nice to be able to exagerate the effects a little more. But I would by it again in a second for the price.
